Editorial Standards
The rules that govern every guide we publish, and the process every page passes through before it goes live.
Research standards
We start with primary sources — operators, airports, aviation authorities, and verified local partners. Secondary sources are used only to corroborate. Guides that cannot be sourced to primary evidence are not published.
Source hierarchy
Tier 1: official operators, airports, aviation regulators, verified local businesses. Tier 2: established travel and aviation publications. Tier 3: reputable secondary reporting. Anonymous or user-generated content is never used as a factual claim.
Fact-checking process
Every material claim — prices, distances, ranges, aircraft specifications, availability — is verified against the primary record and tied to a citation. A guide with unverified claims is held from publication.
AI use policy
Automation assists our team with research aggregation, source ranking, keyword intelligence, and quality control. It does not decide what to publish. A human editor reviews every guide before it goes live.
Editorial responsibility
The Limitless Sky editorial team is responsible for the accuracy of every published guide. Bylines and reviewers are recorded internally and available on request.
Correction policy
If we get something wrong, we correct it. Submit a correction from the Content Quality page. Substantive corrections are logged in the public changelog.
Review frequency
Every guide is scheduled for review. Time-sensitive guides (pricing, availability, seasonal) are reviewed on shorter cycles than reference guides (aircraft specifications, airport facts).
Independence and commercial disclosure
We disclose commercial relationships that could reasonably be understood to affect a guide. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly labelled.
