KTEB is a noise-restricted, weight-restricted airport that exists specifically for general aviation — there is no scheduled airline traffic, which means no security queue, no terminal walk, and ramp-to-car times measured in minutes. Heavy and ultra-long-range traffic that cannot meet KTEB's 100,000 lb actual gross weight limit (such as the Boeing Business Jet, or a Global 7500 loaded above that weight) repositions to KEWR, KJFK or KHPN. For most G650, Global 6000, Falcon 8X and super-midsize charter, however, Teterboro is the right call every time.

Zoll & Einreise

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) general-aviation arrival inspection is available 7 days a week, 07:30–23:15 ET (office 07:00–24:00 ET), at Hangar 1 on the north side (passengers reboard and taxi to their FBO after inspection) or at Jet Aviation on the south side (passengers can depart directly from the FIS). Permission to land must be requested at least 2 hours before departure from the foreign port.

Handling

Five competing FBOs keep handling times short. We request a slot 24 hours ahead during peak weeks (UNGA, F1 Miami repositioning, summer Hamptons rotations) — same-day arrivals are routine outside those windows.

Bodentransfer

Chauffeured car to Midtown Manhattan in 18–28 minutes depending on Lincoln Tunnel traffic. Helicopter shuttles to the West 30th Street Heliport take 8 minutes — useful at rush hour. Our concierge arranges both before block-out.
