SAFETY

The flight you don't think about is the flight we got right.

Private aviation is safe when the broker behind it refuses to cut corners. The four standards below are non-negotiable on every Limitless Sky charter.

01

Independent third-party audits

We only quote operators that hold a current ARGUS Gold or Platinum rating, a WYVERN Wingman certification, or an IS-BAO Stage 2 / 3 registration. The audit reports are reviewed before the operator is added to our panel.

02

Pre-flight verification

Before every departure we re-check the aircraft's airworthiness certificate, the pilots' currency and type ratings, the insurance hull and liability limits and the operator's AOC. Nothing is taken on trust.

03

Two pilots, every flight

We do not book single-pilot operations on jet aircraft. Every flight is crewed by two ATP-rated pilots with recent experience on type.

04

No undisclosed sub-charters

You always know which operator is flying you, on which tail. We will not switch the aircraft after booking without your written consent.

THE THREE STANDARDS, EXPLAINED

What ARGUS, WYVERN and IS-BAO actually verify

ARGUS

Aviation Research Group / U.S.

Gold · Gold Plus · Platinum

ARGUS audits an operator's safety management system, training records, crew experience and maintenance program. Gold is the working minimum for our panel; Platinum requires an on-site audit and a fully implemented SMS. ARGUS also runs the TripCHEQ pre-flight check we re-run before every departure.

WYVERN

Wyvern Ltd.

Registered · Wingman · Wingman PRO

WYVERN Wingman is awarded after a 250-point on-site audit of operations, training, maintenance and safety culture. Wingman PRO requires an additional SMS audit aligned with ICAO Annex 19. We treat Wingman as equivalent to ARGUS Gold for panel eligibility.

IS-BAO

International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations

Stage 1 · Stage 2 · Stage 3

Developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), IS-BAO is the global benchmark for business-aviation safety. Stage 2 confirms the SMS is operating; Stage 3 confirms it is fully embedded in the operator's culture. We prefer Stage 2 or higher for international long-range work.

OPERATOR VETTING PROCESS

Six checks every operator clears before we quote

We do not own or operate aircraft. We charter from a vetted panel of certified operators on your behalf — which means the integrity of the panel is everything. These six checks are documented for every operator we use, and re-verified before every flight.

01

Operator certification check

Valid AOC (Air Operator Certificate) from a Tier-1 civil aviation authority — EASA, FAA, CAA, Transport Canada or equivalent. AOCs are verified against the issuing authority's public register.

02

Third-party safety audit

Current ARGUS, WYVERN or IS-BAO audit. We hold the audit report on file and re-check the rating quarterly against the issuing body's API.

03

Insurance verification

Hull and liability cover from an A-rated insurer. Minimum US$300m combined single limit for heavy and ultra-long-range jets; minimum US$100m for mid-size and below. Certificate of Insurance reviewed before quoting.

04

Crew currency

Both pilots ATP-rated, type-current with at least 90-day recency on the specific tail, and a minimum of 3,000 total hours for the captain. Verified against operator-supplied logbook summaries.

05

Maintenance status

Airworthiness certificate, last 100-hour inspection date and any open MEL (Minimum Equipment List) items reviewed against the assigned tail before contract signature.

06

Operational track record

No FAA, EASA or NTSB enforcement actions in the trailing 24 months. Any incident or accident history reviewed by our chief pilot before the operator is added — or kept on — the panel.

Questions about an operator on your quote?

Ask. We'll share the audit rating, AOC number, insurance certificate and crew currency for the proposed tail before you sign anything.
