Monaco Grand Prix VIP Travel Guide 2026
Race week in Monaco is the densest concentration of UHNW logistics in the calendar. This is how the trip is built around the jet — paddock, yacht berth, hotel suite and helicopter, sequenced so the race weekend actually works.
When to arrive
Wednesday is FIA media day and the quietest arrival slot at Nice. Thursday afternoon is the most contested. By Friday morning the heliport queue is 90+ minutes — your Friday arrival becomes a Saturday arrival.
Where to stay
Hôtel de Paris, Hôtel Hermitage, Métropole and Fairmont sell out 12 months ahead. Realistic alternatives for late-booking clients: Monte-Carlo Beach (Roquebrune-Cap-Martin), villas in Cap d'Ail and Roquebrune, or a yacht berthed in Port Hercule (see cross-link below).
Paddock and viewing
Paddock Club is sold through F1 Experiences and select hospitality brokers — secure access before booking the jet, not after. Private terraces on Avenue d'Ostende, Rascasse and Sainte-Dévote are the alternative for clients who want the view without the paddock.
Departure
Sunday post-race departure from Nice is the single most contested slot of the European year. Book a Monday morning departure when possible, or fly out Sunday before 13:00 (pre-race) and watch from the yacht.
