Ibiza has matured far beyond its rave reputation. Today the island is a year-round magnet for billionaires, family offices and the global fashion set — sustained by a private aviation infrastructure that moves clients from London City to Ibiza in under two hours, often arriving in time for dinner at Cipriani Downtown or Casa Maca.
Where to stay
Six Senses Ibiza in the quiet north offers the island's most private villas. Hacienda Na Xamena clings to a 180-metre cliff above Benirrás, and Atzaró remains the destination of choice for fashion-house retreats. UHNW travellers typically charter a 6–10 bedroom finca in San Lorenzo or San Juan rather than booking hotels.
Beach clubs and dining
Amante for cliff-edge lunch, Beachouse for a slower Salinas afternoon, Cala Bonita for the most stylish family lunches. Reservations at Heart, Cipriani and Casa Jondal should be placed 4–6 weeks ahead in July and August. The opening of Ushuaïa's new high-roller terrace has redrawn the late-night map.
Marinas and yachts
Marina Ibiza is the only deepwater berth for superyachts above 50m. Tenders run from Talamanca to Cala Conta and Formentera in under 25 minutes. Most clients combine the jet arrival with a pre-positioned tender and a chase boat from Marina Botafoch.
Getting there
Ibiza Airport (IBZ) handles the bulk of private traffic, with Sky Valet and ExecuJet operating dedicated VIP terminals. From Northern Europe a Citation XLS+ or Phenom 300 covers the leg comfortably; from Dubai or New York, a Global 6000 or Falcon 8X is standard.
