Private jet to St Barths
St Barths is one of the few Caribbean islands where the private jet usually does not land on the island itself. The runway at Saint-Barthélemy airport (SBH) is about 646 m long, the airport is listed for visual flights only, and crews need specific qualification for the approach. In practice your jet flies to Princess Juliana on St Maarten (SXM), and the last 15 or so miles are covered by a small aircraft, a helicopter or a boat.

Planning your St Barths connection
Compare the journey to your villa, not just the jet flight to St Maarten. Your request should include the arrival date, villa location, passenger list and luggage, plus your preference for a small aircraft, helicopter or boat. The onward operator must confirm its own baggage allowance; a jet's generous hold does not mean every bag can fit on the island connection.
