Choosing aircraft
Match the aircraft to mission length and party size. A 90-minute hop with four passengers is a light jet. A transatlantic crossing for eight needs an ultra-long-range. Your broker should always present options across two cabin classes so you can balance price and comfort.
Passenger information
Full names exactly as on passports, dates of birth and nationality are required for permits and customs. International trips also need passport numbers and expiry dates.
Catering
From a continental breakfast to a Michelin-tier multi-course menu — anything is possible with 24 hours' notice. Light catering is typically complimentary.
Flight permits
Operators handle overflight and landing permits. International trips into restricted airspace (e.g. parts of the Middle East, China) may need 48–72 hours' lead time.
Customs
At most FBOs, customs and immigration are processed inside the private terminal in under five minutes. Some airports require a short transfer to a main terminal facility.
Arrival process
Park kerbside at the FBO, walk through the lounge, board the aircraft. On arrival, your ground transport meets you at the aircraft steps. Total airport time on most trips: under 15 minutes.
