Dassault Private Jet Charter

Dassault Aviation · Saint-Cloud, France · Founded 1929 · 3 aircraft chartered

Falcon — three-engine reliability, fighter-jet aerodynamics, the shortest-field heavies in service.

Dassault Aviation builds the Falcon family — the only modern business jets with three engines (8X, 7X, 6X) and the heritage of a manufacturer that also builds the Rafale fighter. Falcons land shorter, climb faster and fly into airports that Gulfstreams and Globals cannot touch (London City, Lugano, St. Moritz, Aspen).

WHY DASSAULT AVIATION

Where the brand wins

When the airport is short, the approach is steep, or fuel efficiency matters, Falcons win. The 8X burns up to 30% less fuel than equivalent Gulfstream or Bombardier heavies on the same mission.

HOUSE STYLE

What every Dassault Aviation shares

  • Three-engine redundancy on the 7X and 8X — uniquely qualified for extended overwater (ETOPS)
  • Steep-approach certified across the heavy line — London City, Lugano, St. Moritz
  • Digital flight-control system inherited from Dassault's fighter programme
  • 30+ cabin configurations on the 8X — most flexible heavy on the market
  • FalconEye combined vision system — first to fuse synthetic and enhanced vision

FAQ

Dassault Aviation charter — frequently asked

How much does it cost to charter a Dassault Falcon?
Typical 2026 hourly rates: Falcon 2000LXS from $8,500/hr, Falcon 900LX from $9,800/hr, Falcon 7X from $11,500/hr, Falcon 8X from $13,200/hr. All-inclusive of crew, fuel, fees and catering. Falcons are typically 15–25% more fuel-efficient than Gulfstream or Bombardier equivalents on the same mission.
Falcon 7X vs Falcon 8X — which should I charter?
The 8X is the 7X's direct evolution: same three-engine layout, +500 nm of range (now 6,450 nm), a 3-zone cabin and slightly lower fuel burn. Charter the 8X for trans-Atlantic and longer; the 7X remains the cheaper option for European intercontinental hops.
Why do Falcons have three engines?
The 7X, 8X and 6X use a centre-mounted third engine for redundancy on extended overwater (ETOPS) operations. It also lets the aircraft maintain full climb performance on one engine out, which is why Falcons handle hot-and-high airfields no twin-jet competitor can.
Which airports can a Falcon 7X or 8X access that other heavies can't?
London City (LCY), Lugano (LUG), St. Moritz (SMV), Aspen (ASE), Telluride (TEX), Sion (SIR) and London Biggin Hill steep-approach runway. The Falcon family is the only large-cabin jet line certified for the steep approaches these airports require.
How many passengers fit on a Falcon 8X?
Up to 16 in maximum density, 12–14 in standard club layout, with sleeping for six across a fully convertible divan and lie-flat club seats. The 8X's cabin is the longest in the Falcon family at 13 metres.
When does the Falcon 10X enter service?
Dassault has confirmed entry into service in 2027. We will offer charter on the 10X as soon as the first aircraft enter commercial operation; pre-order priority for repeat clients is already open.
Are Falcons quieter than Gulfstream or Bombardier jets?
The 8X cabin measures 49 dBA in cruise — quieter than a G650ER (52 dBA) and comparable to the Global 7500. The three-engine layout, FalconCabin HD+ acoustics and reinforced fuselage all contribute.
How quickly can a Falcon be positioned for charter?
Falcon 7X and 8X aircraft are concentrated in Europe and the Middle East — typical positioning is 3–6 hours across those regions and 8–12 hours into North America. The Falcon 2000 fleet is wider and pre-positions almost anywhere within 4 hours.
