Light jets dominate sub-three-hour missions. The Citation CJ3+, Phenom 300, Learjet 75 and Pilatus PC-24 are representative airframes. A standing cabin is generally not available, but most offer an enclosed lavatory and refreshment area.
Charter pricing typically falls between $3,500 and $5,500 per hour wet, plus segment fees, FET and crew costs. For US domestic flights under 1,000 nm, light jets are almost always the most cost-effective certified option.
