CORRIDOR NOTES
London ↔ Geneva is one of a handful of European corridors that runs at high volume every month of the year — business Monday to Thursday, family and ski Friday to Sunday, watch and finance events layered on top. Unlike Nice or Ibiza there's no dead season here. That flattens pricing but also means slot pressure at GVA is a year-round consideration, particularly on Sunday nights in ski season and Thursday evenings for family-office weekends.
From mid-December to early April, Saturday and Sunday London → Geneva runs at 3–4x normal volume. Verbier, Courchevel, Val d'Isère, Zermatt and Gstaad are the demand drivers; the ground leg to the resort is 90 minutes to 3 hours by car or 25–40 minutes by helicopter. Aircraft with real hold (Praetor, Challenger, Legacy) command a premium because ski equipment plus family luggage plus après-ski wardrobe won't fit in a CJ3. Sion (SIR) and Bern (BRN) are alternatives for Verbier / Gstaad — worth quoting if GVA slots are tight.
Geneva's family-office and private-banking community drives a distinct pattern: partners flying in from London for Wed–Thu meetings, home for Friday evening. Add EPFL Lausanne innovation-council trips, Baume & Mercier / Rolex trade events and the January Watches & Wonders show and there's a professional layer to the corridor that operates independently of ski demand. These bookings are less price-sensitive but more time-sensitive — one missed slot at LCY or LTN cancels a full day of meetings.
For anyone based in The City, Canary Wharf or Shoreditch, London City (LCY) beats Farnborough or Luton on door-to-door time by 30–45 minutes on the London side. The tradeoff: LCY's steep-approach certification means only specific aircraft can operate (Citation Latitude, Falcon 7X / 8X, Embraer Legacy 500 with the rating). For a Wed-morning business trip out of Canary Wharf, LCY → GVA on a Latitude is the fastest door-to-door in the market.

CORRIDOR FAQ
Hand-written by our dispatch team for this specific corridor — not generic charter FAQs.
Yes — on any aircraft certified for the LCY steep approach. In practice that's the Citation Latitude, Embraer Legacy 500 (with the rating), Dassault Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X. Block time LCY → GVA is 1h 45m, and total door-to-door from Canary Wharf to central Geneva is around 2h 30m — the fastest London-side pairing for city clients.
Light jet (Citation CJ3+, Phenom 300E), 4–6 pax: £8,500–£12,000 one-way. Midsize (Praetor 600, Citation Latitude), 6–8 pax: £13,000–£18,000. Super-midsize / heavy (Challenger 350, Falcon 7X), 8–13 pax: £22,000–£38,000. Ski-week Sunday returns typically price 15–25% above these ranges due to slot pressure.
Geneva (GVA) is the default — 90 minutes to Verbier by car, 2h 30m to Courchevel, 3h to Val d'Isère; all reachable by 25–40 min helicopter transfer instead. Chambéry (CMF) is closer to Courchevel and Val d'Isère (25–60 min) and worth quoting for those two resorts specifically. Sion (SIR) is 40 min from Verbier and Crans-Montana and often less slot-constrained than GVA in peak ski weeks.
Yes — Sunday-evening London-bound after ski weekends is one of the most reliable empty-leg patterns in Europe from December through March. Monday-morning Geneva-bound repositioning is common year-round. Weekday empty legs appear regularly in both directions supporting family-office and Watches & Wonders repositioning.
Yes on any aircraft, but hold volume matters more than weight for a ski trip. A CJ3+ can carry skis for 4 but is tight with family luggage on top. For a full family ski week we spec a Praetor 600, Challenger 350 or Legacy 500 and confirm hold volume — including bulky ski boots and helmets — at booking.
INSIDER TIP
"In peak ski week if GVA parking is unavailable, quote Sion (SIR) instead — you'll land 40 km closer to Verbier and Crans-Montana, skip the Geneva Sunday-night return queue entirely, and the helicopter transfer to the resort is often shorter than the ground drive from GVA."
EMPTY LEGS
Heavy empty-leg flow Sunday–Tuesday during ski season (December–April) and mid-week year-round.
