WHAT DEFINES ULTRA LONG RANGE

Non-stop, intercontinental, with a stand-up cabin.

A ULR jet is defined by three things: at least 6,000 nautical miles of range, a Mach 0.85+ cruise, and a genuine stand-up cabin engineered for a full flight of sleeping, working and eating. That envelope covers the world's most demanding city pairs — New York to Tokyo, London to Singapore, Los Angeles to Sydney — without a fuel stop.

The ULR class is dominated by three OEMs. Bombardier's Global family stretches from the transatlantic Global 5000 to the industry-defining 7500 and the incoming 8000. Gulfstream's ULR lineup — G550, G650ER, G700, G800 — continues to redefine speed and range at the top of the market. Dassault's three-engine Falcon 7X and 8X (and the incoming 6X and 10X) trade a fraction of outright range for the shortest-runway performance in the class.
