Some countries (Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, parts of central Africa) require advance overflight permits — handled by the operator, typically with 48–72 hours' lead time.
Immigration
You clear immigration at the FBO with your passports. The same APIS (Advance Passenger Information) data commercial airlines submit is filed by the operator.
International FBOs
Major business-aviation airports worldwide (Le Bourget, Dubai DWC, Teterboro, Hong Kong, Singapore Seletar) all operate full FBOs with customs facilities.
