The story behind the Gulfstream G350
The Gulfstream G350 is the short-range derivative of the G450 — same fuselage, cabin, PlaneView flight deck and Rolls-Royce Tay engines with reduced fuel capacity for a 3,800 nm range and correspondingly lower hourly cost. Production ran from 2004 to 2011 alongside the G450, with around 40 units built for clients who wanted the full Gulfstream heavy cabin on shorter missions.
For charter the G350 is the specialist: full G450 cabin and cockpit at meaningfully lower hourly rates, on the tradeoff of transcontinental rather than transatlantic range. It suits clients whose typical missions are US coast-to-coast, London-Dubai or Dubai-Singapore rather than transatlantic non-stop.
